The Language Testing Centre at St Petersburg University, together with Istanbul University, conducts Turkish Proficiency exams.
The Turkish Proficiency Exam is an international test designed to assess the language proficiency of individuals learning Turkish as a foreign language. It is recognised by some of the leading associations of language testers in Europe. The Turkish Proficiency Exam facilitates the enrolment / admission of foreign students to Turkish educational institutions. A Turkish Proficiency Certificate confirms the level of language competence in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It is necessary for those who study Turkish as a foreign language, as well as those who want to know how well they speak Turkish.
Not only the University students and staff, but everyone can take the Turkish Proficiency Exam at the Language Testing Centre at St Petersburg University.
